Steve Hamontree, C.P.O.
President
Steve’s interest in prosthetics and orthotics began at an early age, and increased as he grew up in his father’s prosthetic facility. Since his certification in 1979, he has served as Director of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and served on the Standards Review Subcommittee of The American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Steve has also co-authored several articles and is published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery and the American Journal of Surgery. Steve completed his graduate work at UCLA School of Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1978 and is constantly involved in continuing education programs.
Steve is married to Lynne who is an artist. They have two boys. Steve grew up in southern California where he was an avid surfer. He surfed competitively throughout high school and college, and continues to surf in east coast surf contests and whenever the opportunity arises.
