Baxter Baker, C.O.

Baxter joined PROSTHETIC C ·A · R · E in Nov. 2010 as a staff orthotist in the Anderson and Seneca offices. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and of their Orthopedic Appliance Course in 1970. During his tour he lived in England and enjoyed his many travels around Europe. Baxter graduated with an Associates Degree in Photography from Chowan College in Murfreesboro, N.C. He also attended Shelby State Community College in Tennessee where he attained the “Long Term” certificate course in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Completion of the “Short Term” course allowed him to obtain his orthotic certification in 1980. Baxter became a civilian instructor for the U.S. Air Force teaching academics and fabrication of Orthotics to U.S. Air Force personnel from 1978-1986.

Baxter is married and has three children and three grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time he enjoys camping, gardening and fishing.  Baxter is excited to be back in South Carolina and to provide quality care to Prosthetic Care’s patients.
